Its the first of October and there are posters hanging all around Traverse City. We have been marketing like crazy, designing posters and online adds and all of this while recording non-stop. There are FOUR different EPs and mixtapes that are almost ready for release and I don't think I myself could be any happier with the progress we are making as a team. Looking forward into October everyone should expect the release of 25+ songs on YouTube, SoundCloud, and I believe we will be able to start posting on Spotify as well. Everyone is trying out new ideas and vocal techniques that are unique and even bring a whole new genre of hiphop to the table. This barrage of new music throughout the next month is our way of showing that the music never stops recording here at Cyde Productions and things are only getting bigger and better.
October 19th will be the public's first chance to hear many of these artist's new tracks live and in person and we can't be more stoked about it! All of the artists can't wait to preform at the The Traverse City Circuit because it will be our largest venue yet at an opacity of around 300 people. We are opening the show to all ages to come out and enjoy and we encourage them too bring their friends.
For myself, being at the center of all of this I feel like this month is really going to display the outcome of all of the hard work that I and all of the great artists I work with have been putting in for the last six months. MardoDeTC has an EP prepared that we have been working on since the day he released his first mixtape "Running Out of Time" and Big Sharp has been grinding away on his own EP since he dropped "Collectively Uncollected" around the same time. Moe Staxx is the newest member to the Cyde family and he's got a six song EP that we are putting the final touches on this week. Finally Poor Homie Vang has stepped into the studio once again and we busted out a three song set that will be a early bonus while we wait for his new mixtape to come in the future. All of these guys have been putting in a ton of work and thats why we can't wait to show it to all of you. There is more to come and there will be more after that. I doubt it will ever stop. Joe Rich has been doing some writing and will be stepping into the booth real soon.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the show this month and hope that what we have coming will impress you all as much as we have impressed ourselves. Everyone here is proud of what they do and the message they are trying to spread so join us and see what its all about.
